CM Nyari
A Word on Genre
Hello—I'm CM Nyari. (Cadia Margaret). You won’t find a shelf full of alter egos here. I publish under one name, my name. I read across genres; I write the same way. Some days that’s a cosy mystery with a ghost in a Lincolnshire apothecary; other days it’s a young adult adventure where our heroes have a strong affinity with animals in Yorkshire or a near-future thriller about systems that shape our lives. I like British settings, fair-play clues, clear prose, and stories that move.
I have a chaotic brain in the best sense: I keep several projects on the boil so each book stays fresh.
If you’re a reader who enjoys crossing lanes, you’ll feel at home. If you prefer to stay in one lane, that’s fine too—each book is clearly labelled by series and genre so you only get what you want.
One name, many stories. Same promise every time: grounded characters, strong sense of place, and a plot that respects your time.
Have a browse and choose your flavour.
